From the Château d’Ath, in the historic centre of the city of giants, remains a fortified dungeon dating back to the 12th century. This 20-metre-high tower overlooks the City of Giants and offers a fascinating guided tour to visitors.

Discover the tower

Listed as exceptional cultural heritage of Wallonia, this Anglo-Norman tower is quite impressive in size: 20 m high, 14 m large, and walls 4 m wide.

In the guard room, visitors can enjoy an interesting documentary, presented by Baudoin IV and his equerry: "Ath, daughter of Baudouin IV and the Dendre river" or the history of this medieval military fortress.
