Set in a listed 18th-century patrician house, this museum displays medieval and Renaissance works from the Namur region.

The Musée provincial des arts anciens du Namurois boasts stunning Mosan masterpieces, as well as the world's largest collection of works by the landscape painter Henri Bles. It is also home to the famous Treasure of Oignies, an exceptional collection of 13th-century goldsmiths' pieces.

In addition to its art collections, the museum manages a vast library, a prints and drawings department, and François Cajot's numismatic collection. Two to three exhibitions are organised a year, in connection with Namur's cultural heritage and educational activities offered to the younger audience.
