This 2-km trail is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this unique tradition, celebrated in Mons and listed by UNESCO. The "Doudou", as these folkloric festivities are nicknamed, have btaken place on the Trinity weekend since the 14th century.

Thousands of participants join every year, the crowd getting bigger as time goes by... There are 4 key moments in these celebrations: the descent of the shrine of Saint Waudru, the procession leading it through the town, pushing the Car d'Or (a golden carriage) up the hill, the Lumeçon battle.

Words can't describe the feeling of happiness in Mons - you simply have to come and experience it!
